It was by all accounts a fantastic Halloween night 2025 at the District of Metchosin Fire Hall.
There were wonderful costumes large and small, says District of Metchosin Mayor Marie-Térèse Little.
“We gave out between 500 to 600 hot dogs and lots of treats for the kids,” said Little on Facebook today.
Families come to the Metchosin Halloween event year after year. “It’s a super community spirit!”, says Little. The bonfire is very popular and the indoor venue is particularly good on a rainy night.’

Metchosin Fire Chief Stephanie Dunlop, Metchosin Fire Department, Metchosin FireSmart volunteers, Metchosin firefighters and community volunteers put on the popular annual event.
The October 31 Blue Jays game was also viewable on a screen set up in the fire hall.
