The annual ShakeoutBC province-wide earthquake drill is coming up on Thursday October 16, 2025.
At 10:16 am participants will drop, cover and hold on as a way of practicing their response to the shaking caused by an earthquake.
You can participate anywhere, wherever you are.
It’s important to develop muscle memory in case you need this skill during a real earthquake.
Registering at the ShakeoutBC website helps you promote the importance of earthquake preparedness.
