The splash pad at Rutledge Park in Saanich is open this summer.,
Last year the splash pad was closed so as to prevent potable water from the splash pad from entering the storm water system (which can have negative impacts on aquatic life).
Construction and installation of the water system is not complete. Some landscape repair will follow next week.
The District of Saanich thanks residents and visitors for their patience as the structural changes were made to the water discharge system.
Rutledge Park is in the core area of Saanich. It can be accessed from Inverness Road or Scotia Street or Cloverdale Avenue or Glasgow
Avenue.
Both the Rutledge Park and Beckwith Park splash pads are open this summer through to mid-October. Daily hours 10 am to 7 pm.
