The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce is leaving their Fort Street location and moving a few blocks over to C201-633 Courtney St in downtown Victoria.
The move will take place tomorrow, November 27. Staff will work virtually in December while the new office gets set up, continuing seamless service, the Chamber says in their November 25 newsletter.
Members will be welcomed to the new office in January.
In-person meetings can be arranged by contacting staff by phone or email.
Improvements in the new space:
The new space at 633 Courtney Street near Douglas Street is the former United Way Southern Vancouver Island office location, within the Nootka Court commercial space.
It’s closer to the Inner Harbour than the previous office that was in one-way 800-block Fort Street between Blanshard and Quadra.
Compared to the previous ground-level office, at C201-633 Courtney Street the Chamber says there is more natural light, a large outdoor deck, better location visibility, better access for members, and an upgraded boardroom.
