In Sooke at the SEAPARC Leisure Complex there is another great season of activities coming up for sport and recreation.
The 2024 January-March Active Living Guide is now online.
Registration for most programs starts Wednesday December 13 at 9 am. Swim lesson registration starts next week on Wednesday December 20 at 9 am.
Residents of Sooke and the Juan de Fuca areas are served by the SEAPARC Leisure Complex.
How to register:
- Registration for many (but not all) programs can be done online 24/7 using credit card payment.
- Or register in person at SEAPARC, 2168 Phillips Road. Payment by cash, debit, cheque or credit card.
- By phone at 250-642-8000. Mon to Fri – 6 am to 8:45 pm and Sat/Sun – 7 am to 8:45 pm; pay by credit card.
New offerings:
“We also have some great new offerings,” says Darcy Smith, Recreation Program Assistant, SEAPARC. A few highlights below:
- Chess Club (age 18+)
- Parent and Tot Play and Learn Drop-in (ages 0-2)
- Hot Flow Yoga (age 16+)
- Chair Yoga (age 19+)
- Barre Workout (age 16+) and Gentle Barre Workout (age 19+)
- Parent & Baby and Pre-Natal Pilates
- Youth Strength Training Techniques (ages 15-17)
Early Years Programs:
Early Years programs include Preschool Fun Dance, and Music and Sounds. The Sport and Physical Literacy offerings for kids under age five includes Active Start, Kindergym Drop-In, and Parent & Tot Play & Learn Drop-in.
