The Lotto 6/49 draw jackpot for the Saturday September 23, 2023 draw has reached what BC Lottery Corporation says is the largest jackpot prize in the game’s history, calling it “an astounding $66 million”.

One-in-two chance:
With only two balls left in the draw, there is a 1 in 2 chance that the gold ball will be drawn Saturday night — if the gold ball is drawn, someone will walk away with the $66 million Gold Ball Jackpot. In addition, the $5-million Classic Jackpot is also up for grabs.
Game enhancements last year:
Saturday’s jackpot marks the first time that the Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball jackpot has grown to this amount, following game enhancements launched in September 2022 to enable larger jackpot prizes. If the Gold Ball Jackpot is not won on Saturday, the jackpot will roll to the maximum amount of $68 million for the Wednesday, September 27 draw — meaning someone in Canada WILL win the Gold Ball Jackpot.
52 weeks to claim a prize:
All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize. The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winners’ name(s) will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize.
So far in 2023, B.C. lottery players redeemed more than $82 million in winnings from Lotto 6/49.
