The City of Langford is set for the 13th annual Langford Show and Shine, happening this weekend on Sunday August 17.
The event will run from 10 am to 2 pm along Goldstream Avenue and and Station Avenue in the heart of Langford’s downtown district.
“The annual Show and Shine is an exciting opportunity for the community to come together with friends and family for a day filled with entertainment and classic cars,” says Langford Mayor Scott Goodmanson.
Visitors can expect a lively atmosphere with live bands, activities for children, and an impressive line-up of unique cars.
Free family-friendly event:
The Show and Shine is a free, family-friendly event that will feature live music from artists LateShift and Kelly Fawcett, entertainment and activities for children.
Register your vehicle:
People who wish to include their car in this year’s event can register on-site on Sunday morning August 17 between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. at 2945 Jacklin Road.
Variety of cars are welcome: classic, concept, and just plain cool.
Vote for your favourite!
Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite vehicle on display by using a QR code that will be provided during the event.

The City of Langford thanks event sponsors Victoria Contracting and Torque Masters Car Club for their support and encourages community members and visitors to attend and enjoy the event!
There will be a market and food trucks and artist studios at The Langford Station.
Enjoy live music and entertainment, including a car derby and community art projects. Little ones can get creative at the craft station, watch a balloon artist, or have some fun getting their face painted.
Traffic advisory:
The following streets will be closed to traffic on Sunday August 17 from 6 am to 3 pm:
- Goldstream Avenue, between Veterans Memorial Parkway and Peatt Road’
- Portions of Bryn Maur Road and Station Avenue between Aprell Place and Veterans Memorial Parkway.
No parking will be available on those roads during this time; any vehicles parked there will be subject to towing (to Station Avenue Parking Lot).
On Goldstream:
The 13th Annual show & Shine event is centered at the Langford Arch on Goldstream Avenue, the main street in downtown Langford.
In previous years, the Langford Show & Shine event saw vintage cars sprawled a long way along Goldstream Avenue from Jacklin Road to Veterans Memorial Parkway.
