A series of ‘telephone town halls’ about the Province’s comprehensive plan to create a cleaner, stronger and more prosperous BC will be hosted by George Heyman, Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategy.

For Vancouver Islanders, the phone-in date is March 25. You’ll want to read up before then, and register.

“Building a cleaner, brighter future for BC is something we’re all a part of, and CleanBC is our Province’s plan to help get us there,” says Heyman. “We are committed to listening to British Columbians as we take action on expanding a low-carbon economy to protect our natural environment and the place we call home.”

The town halls provide an opportunity to connect directly with Heyman to ask questions about CleanBC, give feedback and to learn more and comment on how the Province will make things better and more affordable for people while reducing air pollution, protecting
the environment and communities.

There are four regions-specific town halls (all times PDT), with closed captioning available:
* Wed March 6 at 7 p.m. Lower Mainland & southwestern BC
* Wed March 13 at 7 p.m. Kootenays, the Interior & northern BC
* Mon March 25 at 7 p.m. Vancouver Island & communities throughout the coast
* Wed March 27 at 7 p.m. Lower Mainland & southwestern BC

Closed captioning is available. A separate link for closed captioning online will be sent to participants who choose that option when they register.
