Still open to input from parents, the Sooke School District 62 (SD62) invites parents, caregivers and community to participate in what they call “a very important survey”.

It will be sent out directly to parents by email, and posted on the www.sd62.bc.ca website on Monday morning August 31 at 8 am. It will remain open only to Tuesday September 1 in the evening at 9 pm.

The survey will be asking parents to provide the school district with a preferred educational option for their child(ren). | See survey link here: https://islandsocialtrends.ca/sd62-parent-survey-open-aug-31-sept-1-to-select-learning-options/

For reference, the SD62 Back to School Plan for 2020-2021 is posted on the school district’s website at https://www.sd62.bc.ca/node/1020 . It covers details such as class sizes, schedule, health and safety protocols, and learning options.

“Welcome back to the 2020/2021 school year!,” it is stated on the SD62 website. “This year is going to be unlike any we have had before, but we know our students are up for the challenge. We have been working all summer to come up with a back to school plan in alignment with direction from the Ministry of Education and Public Health Office.”
